Mission

We provide care and education for youths, and for medical clinics to aid victims of oppression. Through English language immersion and cooperative and experiential learning approaches, KTBLC students will be empowered with the disposition and skills to serve their communities.

Vision

The security and preservation of all ethnic groups, in a free and democratic Burma/Myanmar. Building on experience, KTBLC will continuously work together with the community to positively improve the education of youths. The program will change and expand to fill the ongoing needs of multiple communities. KTBLC staff will teach and guide students to fulfill their potentials, through high energy and creative classes, and shared their knowledge and experiences. Also, teachers and staff will create opportunities for students to become dynamic and confident English speakers. Furthermore, students will use their skills to communicate, solve problems, make responsible decisions, and implement their initiatives in partnerships with local, national and international communities, and become role models for their people, and show that even through times of conflict it is possible to strive for positive development.
